It's barbeque season! Turkey is a great lean alternative to beef, just make sure you're looking for extra lean, or 97% lean turkey in the grocery store. Using a lettuce wrap instead of a bun is also a great way to reduce carbs and up your veggie intake for the day.
Ingredients:
2 lbs extra lean ground turkey
½ cup bread crumbs
2 large eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced fine or grated
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 10 oz box frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until fully combined.
Form into 8 – 4 oz patties. Transfer to fridge and allow to set for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill over high heat for 10 minutes.
Transfer patties to grill and cook for 5-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
Serve on a whole wheat bun, or in a lettuce wrap with toppings and condiments of choice.
