A classic combination to combat your midday hunger! These Chocolate peanut butter snack bars are packed with protein and fiber to keep you full and focused throughout your day!
Prep time: 15 minutes
Makes: 16 squares
Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup ground flaxseed meal
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 4 scoops peanut butter cookie rebuild
- 2.5 oz dark chocolate, melted
Directions
- Using an electric mixer, blend peanut butter, flax, oats, protein powder, honey, and melted butter until it forms a stiff dough
- In a parchment-lined 9x9 inch pan press dough into an even layer, set aside.
- In a small bowl, melt dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments. Spread melted chocolate into an even layer over bars. Sprinkle with a small amount of sea salt if desired.
- Place in fridge and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Cut bars into 12 even squares and store in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
