I had the mini-bypass (single anastomosis bypass) and have struggled with anemia after a pregnancy sucked my iron stores down to a ferritin level of 4. Taking the 45mg one a day vitamin daily plus one of these 45mg cherry iron chews every other day have finally gotten my iron levels back to normal after a year. I've tried a lot of flavors from a lot of brands, but this cherry chew is hands down the best.

I use the 60mg w/C Soft Chew and have been for at least 10 years? I don't know when I discovered them at my local bariatric doctors office but I’m so grateful. After having the rou en y gastric bypass in 1998 I’d struggled to get my iron up. My primary care doc gave me prescription iron to no avail. These chews were the help I needed. When my bariatric office didn't have them in stock several times I started looking around for the source and found this website. I’m so happy to have a constant quality source for iron and my other vitamin needs.
