Our Calcium PLUS tablets have been formulated to break down quickly in water. This complete bone health formulation provides 1,200 mg of elemental calcium (as calcium citrate) as well vitamin D3 and magnesium. This supplement meets the ASMBS standards of calcium supplementation after bariatric surgery. Calcium PLUS tablets are lightly coated which makes them easy to swallow.

Daily Dose:

3 Tablets 2 times daily or as directed
Appropriate for: All Patients as Directed by a Physician

Formulation:

Water-Miscible Vitamin D (WM): We utilize a dry, water-miscible form of vitamin D to further enhance absorption. This means that this nutrient does not need to be taken with fat to optimize absorption, unlike many fat-soluble vitamins included in other brands.

Calcium Plus

I love the caplet form of the calcium (rather than the odd tasting chewables). I take 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon - convenient. The only drawback I have found is that I must eat immediately after taking my calcium now or I get nausea.

Pills are huge

6 pills a day is a lot to take in but other than cheweables that are more expensive I don't have a choice.
