We seek to provide healthcare providers with an understanding of the evidence base to best reframe their patients' dietary concerns in the context of the literature and quality of evidence surrounding each non-nutritive sweetener. Join us to learn, apply, and reflect on the questions and information surrounding the use of non-nutritive sweeteners.Selena McIntyre MS, RDN, LDN, CPTSelena McIntyre completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Pittsburgh. In the past, she has worked as a certified personal trainer and as a nutrition coach in partnership with gyms and collegiate sports teams. She loves fitness, especially weight lifting, but is just as much a foodie as she is a fitness enthusiast.Selena chose to work at Celebrate initially because of her natural interest in nutritional supplements, but then quickly came to love how Celebrate helps bariatric practices and patients. Selena enjoys teaching support groups and meeting patients across the region. The most rewarding part of her job is getting to work with the community.
