Megan Callahan, RDN, is a registered dietitian, originally from Southern Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina. After completing her internship and becoming a registered dietitian, she moved back to North Carolina where she worked at the Duke Center for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery for three years.
Her time as a bariatric dietitian opened her eyes to the scarcity of education and patient access to proper nutritional supplementation post-bariatric surgery. This realization and passion led her to pursue her current role at Celebrate, aspiring to advocate for patients across the West Coast and ensure they have access to the vitamins they need.
Megan moved across the country to work for Celebrate, and now lives in beautiful Colorado! She enjoys exploring her new backyard in the mountains with her husband and two dogs. Hiking, camping, and snowboarding are just some of her favorite pastimes. She also loves exploring new towns and enjoying the local cuisine. When she comes to your town, she will most likely ask “What’s fun to do?” and “Where should I eat?”
